Introduction/介绍
Kiki Mora is a Metal Trio from the UK and Norway. Kiki Mora’s debut EP ‘Cursed Fires That Burn Foreve’ is musical project that defies easy categorisation. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, including Black Metal, Jazz, and Rock, the band creates a unique sound that is both atmospheric and aggressive, raw and unkempt.
With a focus on exploring the darker corners of the human experience, Kiki Mora's music is characterised by juxtaposing lyrical melodies, unconventional harmonies, and evocative sound effects, screams and incantations. Aesthetically, the band's creative vision is rooted in surrealism, with a preference for abstract imagery and unconventional arrangements. As such, their work often explores themes of dreams, nightmares, and the subconscious, using music as a means of tapping into the collective unconscious and channeling primal energies into sonic form.
Ultimately, Kiki Mora is a project that seeks to explore the boundaries of what is possible as a guitar trio, evoking new sounds and ideas with a fearless sense of experimentation and a boundless creative spirit.
'Cursed Fires That Burn Forever' was eventually released offline in limited numbers on CD, cassette, and vinyl, as well as online on Spotify and Bandcamp.
